Rubella first appeared in October 2008. Since then the girls have toured England and Wales, played over fifty gigs, headlined Oxjam, rocked Ladyfest, Club NME and NXNW festival and, having been handpicked to play the Levi’s Ones To Watch residency at Camden Barfly, raised havoc alongside The Chapman Family and Underground Railroad. Their first single, Napalm, was picked up by John Kennedy of Xfm and also by Nemone on BBC Radio 6, who added Rubella to The Lunchbox and interviewed singer Anouska live on air. Rubella are currently preparing for the release of their second single, No Evil / Plastic Implosive, which John Kennedy has already started playing on Xfm Xposure.
